PGDCA students observe 'AZADI 70:Yaad Kro Kurbani'
The most historic and celebrated day in the history of India, is that of its Independence. This day marks the birth of a free nation. It was on this very day’s eve that the Indian flag was proudly unfold by Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India at the Red Fort in Delhi. WGSHA – Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration took the opportunity to celebrate this day and the spirit of oneness by organizing an interactive competition to observe the sacrifice and bravery of our freedom fighters. The batch of 2016-17 of Post Graduate Diploma in Culinary Arts contributed to the event by undertaking a Collage Making Competition. The class was divided into teams of 3 and all the teams started preparing the collages will full zeal and enthusiasm. These collages depicted the courage and fearlessness of our freedom fighters. As our one hour was about to finish, we witnessed the competitive spirit and the giggles in the room. Colourful chart papers, pictures of our freedom fighters and the colours of our national flag; everything added to the mood. It was our salute to the true heroes and to the proud feeling of being Indian!
