CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Dr. Everil Jacklin Fernandes has a doctoral degree in Tourism Management from the University of Mysore. She was awarded as ‘Best Outgoing Student’ in MBA degree in Marketing from the Vishweshwaraya Technological University, Belgaum, as well as in BBA degree from SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore. She was also awarded the Yenepoya ‘Academic Excellence’ award for outstanding performance in MBA examination and Advanced Diploma in Leadership Development from i2iBangalore. Dr. Everil Jacklin Fernandes is a National Eligibility Test (NET) – JRF Qualified faculty. She has over 06 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience with some of the leading management institutions.

    She has published more than 15 research papers in national and international refereed journals. She has also organized many conferences, seminars, workshops and faculty development programmes in her tenure as an academician. Her areas of interest include Marketing Management, strategic management, retail Management, Rural Marketing, Branding and Advertising management and other general management subjects. She is also a reviewer of the Journal of Tourism Management of Elsevier publishing house.

    Before moving into research, Dr. Everil Jacklin Fernandes has served as Territory Account Manager at value point systems Pvt Ltd, for a short tenure and later began her teaching career as a lecturer at St. Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology. She and her husband have cofounded Zion Digital Arts and Prints that operates through a virtual set up. She is creative, competent, goal-oriented, optimistic and intuitive. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Commerce, MAHE Manipal. Currently, she is the student council coordinator at the Department of Commerce
