Dr. Ambigai Rajendran
CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Dr. Ambigai Rajendran is currently working as Associate Professor with 15 years of Academic and Research experience, in her tenure she has been entitled to various administrative roles. She started her academic journey as a Human Resource expert with a keen interest on Organizational Behaviour, fascinated by how people work together within an organised entity. However, Dr Ambigai’s research interest evolved towards the fascinating link between behaviour and health outcomes. This ultimately led her to the field of Health Economics.
Health Economics is a dynamic field that applies economic principles to analyse healthcare systems, resource allocation, and the impact of health policy decisions. In this field, she is particularly interested in how individual behaviour, along with organizational factors, influence healthcare utilization and overall health. Today, she is a passionate interdisciplinary researcher combining her diverse perspective into her work. By understanding how people make decisions within healthcare systems, leading to design better policies and interventions to improve population health.
