    MCODS, Mangalore has a well equiped library facilities with sufficient titles and copies of titles to cater to the 100 undergraduate students and 30+ postgraduate students every year. The library is centrally airconditioned with the latest journals. There are separte undergraduate and postgraduate sections and a separte section for Journals backvolumes and current issues. Internet facilities, photocoping is also available for the students.

    Yes, foreign students can take admissions in MCODS, Mangalore. 15% of the total admissions are allotted for foreign/ NRI category. The infrastructure provided is at par with the international standards and the teaching methodology is apt for training students to meet challenges in dental practice in a global perspective. 

    Teaching methodology constitutes of didactic lectures, tutorials, seminars, projects, Objective Structural Practical Evaluation (OSPE) & Objective Structural Clinical Evaluation (OSCE).

    The institution encourages students to conduct research through external funding by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Besides this, the Manipal Academy of Higher Education also provides research incentives for students to attend conferences and present papers/ posters. 

    Hostels are separate for girls and boys with double sharing furnished rooms with excellent mess facilities and 24*7 water and electricity and Wi-Fi facilities.

    MCODS, Mangalore is one of the constituent institutions of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education founded by Late Dr TMA Pai, who was the pioneer of private education in India.

    MCODS, Mangalore is accredited with the ISO 14001 certification. Besides this, it is also recognized by the Malaysian Dental Council & the Nepal Dental Council. It is also a certified training institute for MFDS (Royal college of surgery: Eddinbrough/Glasgow. 

    No formal Student exchange programmes are available as yet. The college has signed MOU's with University Teknologi, Mara, Malaysia, University of Sheffield, England and University of IOWA, USA where student exchange avenues are explored.
