Overview
M.E in Cloud Computing at MSIS, Manipal, Manipal, is a two-year, AICTE-approved, industry-oriented postgraduate degree program. As more and more IT industries move their infrastructure to the cloud, there is a huge demand for cloud architects and engineers. Cloud computing is also a trending technology that enables the handling of big data. The demand in the research and job markets motivates having an exclusive program on cloud computing. Our Cloud Computing program is an AWS verified program. Two courses exclusively on AWS architecture are part of the program.
Career Prospects
Students are trained on how to work, manage, and deploy the cloud based on current standards, protocols, and best practices. Students will understand the infrastructure, security issues, and handling of big data on the cloud, automate the software product life cycle, automate cloud infrastructure development for web applications, and provide end-to-end cloud business solutions. The AWS Cloud Competency Framework provides the students with access to AWS Academy (a learning management system) with self-paced learning courses and a sandbox environment to complete lab activities. Program contents are also designed such that they prepare the students for AWS Certifications.
