The literature club of DLHS, MAHE Bangalore is hosting an event called "Me Gustas Tu" which means "I like you" In Spanish. It is an anonymous love letter writing event. Anyone on campus could write a love letter to someone on campus, and the student volunteers deliver the letter for them.

Nearly 200 letters were received and were delivered by Thursday (24/02/’23). All the departments in MAHE Bengaluru campus inclusive of Department of Commerce, School of Law, MIT, and Shristi Manipal participated in the event.

The objective of the event was to make new friendships, bring people together, interact with different departments thus marking the first large scale event for the literary club Lit Lounge. 

People from every department in the MAHE Bengaluru campus participated in the event. This sparked many friendships and brought people from all departments together in one place. The hope is that it also inspired people to write letters to their loved ones to help keep the art of writing letters alive.

The overwhelming response opened up possibilities of collaborating with other departments for further events. The club is currently working on its next event in collaboration with Shristi Manipal.
