Qualification: Antony Marie Cruz A. is an Assistant Professor (Senior Selection Grade) in the Animation Department at Manipal Institute of Communication, MAHE. With over 20 years of experience, he excels in 3D Modeling, Sculpting, film studies, and multimedia arts. Antony has held leadership roles at SAE College and Arena Multimedia. He holds a B.Sc. in Visual Communication, a BFA, and an MA in Advertisement & Public Relations, and is an Autodesk Certified Instructor for Maya and 3Ds Max. Currently pursuing a Ph.D., he is a dedicated mentor, guiding students in dissertation projects, demo reel preparation, and technical workshops. Antony has co-authored patented Digital Illustration Art works on mechanical neck pain and directed multiple student film projects. Proficient in various software tools like Autodesk 3Ds Max, Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine and Adobe Suite, he is a valuable resource for aspiring animation and multimedia students.
