Vinyasa Hegade is a distinguished media educator with over 12 years of experience. Since joining the Manipal Institute of Communication (MIC) in 2014, he has excelled in teaching film and broadcast subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, guiding over fifteen master’s thesis students. For eight years, he has revived and managed the Manipal Film Study Centre (MFSC), overseeing innovative video projects for MAHE and other clients. Additionally, he has coordinated sports activities at MIC, demonstrating his commitment to holistic education. With a strong cultural and theatre background, Vinyasa has been actively involved with the cultural organization Ninasam. He has a keen interest in film research and is pursuing a Ph.D. with a full fellowship at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
