CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    She is an Assistant Professor - Senior Scale & Coordinator for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program in the Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. 

    Her roles and responsibilites in the department include:

    • Teaching concepts of community and public health to undergraduate medical students (MMMC) & Master's degree in Public Health (Manipal Academy of Higher Education)
    • Facilitating and teaching students from international universities under the ‘Study Abroad Program’
    • Planning and coordinating weekly and monthly schedules
    • Coordinating and conducting community-based diagnosis, student research and field exposure trips to various public health organizations both governmental and non-governmental in order to broaden the students’ understanding of practical Public Health
    • Being an internal examiner of students of the postgraduate program
    • Mentoring postgraduate research and undergraduate research
    • Conducting original research.
