Manipal School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP)  hosted a two-day Miniature Furniture Design workshop in collaboration with Studio Siara on September 29th and 30th, 2023. The event was coordinated by Ar. Anupama Pavithran and Ms. Akshaya M R which was led by MSAP Alumni and Studio Siara founders Ar. Dikshit and Ar. Aayush Purohith. This innovative workshop aimed to push the boundaries of design thinking by teaching participants the art of crafting miniature furniture using materials like metal, wood, and white cement.

MSAP Director Dr. Nandineni Rama Devi addressed students, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in enhancing education and preparing students for dynamic careers. In the valedictory function, Ar. Sahana, MSAP's Associate Director and Ar. Lulwa Khaleel alumni coordinator awarded prizes to the top three teams, marking the workshop's successful conclusion.

This collaboration underscores MSAP's ongoing efforts to provide students with exposure to real-world design practices, solidifying its reputation as a leading institution in architecture and planning.
