The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, MCODS, Manipal hosted the OMR PG Alumni meet to celebrate 40 years of OMR at MCODS, Manipal on April 10, 2023 at Fortune Inn Valley View. The rendezvous was a great opportunity for the alumni to rewind, rejoice and reconnect with the alma mater. On this occasion, Senior Professor Dr Vijayaraghavan was felicitated for his outstanding service as an educator and clinician. All senior alumni were felicitated for their contributions to the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at MCODS, Manipal. Series of interactive sessions were organized as a part of continuing professional development program. Dr Auswaf Ahsan K P, Department Head, Iqraa Community Dental clinic, Kozhikodi and Dr manoj Vengal, Professor and Head, KMCT Dental College, Mukkam, Kozhikode were the resource persons on April 8, 2023 in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology.  Dr Auswaf and Dr Manoj Vengal enlightened the postgraduates and the interns on “CBCT Practice Management” and “How to make a good CBCT report”. Dr Keerthilatha M Pai, Controller of Examinations and Director Quality Assurance and Reputation, Sikkim Manipal University, was the resource person on April 11, 2023 at MMMC. Dr Keerthilatha M Pai addressed the undergraduates and postgraduates on “Drug interactions and Adverse Drug Effects: What every dentist should know”.
