World Physiotherapy Day 2024

The Department of Physiotherapy at KMC Mangalore hosted a CME on "Artificial Intelligence: Exploring the New Boundaries in Rehabilitation" yesterday as a part of celebrations of the World Physiotherapy Day 2024.

The event began with an inaugural function, graced by Chief Guest Dr. K.V. Gangadharan from NITK Surathkal, Guest of Honour Dr. Dilip G. Naik, Pro Vice-Chancellor of MAHE Mangalore, and presided over by Dr. B. Unnikrishnan, Dean of KMC Mangalore.

The event featured speakers like Dr. K.V. Gangadharan, Dr. Srikanth Prabhu, Dr. Ashish Prabhakar, and Mr. Shyam Krishnan, who delivered sessions on AI in healthcare and rehabilitation.

The day concluded with a quiz, and a physio theatre competition.
