Dr. Ajit R Mahale, Professor of Radiodiagnosis at KMC Mangalore, along with junior residents Dr. Radha and Dr. Kasturi Sarvankar, have collaborated with researchers from NITTE (Deemed to be University) on two projects titled "Automated Interstitial Lung Disease Diagnosis System and Method Thereof" and "NEUROTRINET: A Multimodal Deep Learning System for the Detection of Neurodegenerative Diseases."

These innovative research projects have been recognized with a patent publication by the Indian Patent Office.
