MIV is pleased to announce the successful completion of a five-day skill-based training program on Cell Culture and Virus Isolation Techniques. The program attracted participants from esteemed institutes across India, including Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Silchar, Trichy, and Coimbatore.

This intensive program provided a well-rounded learning experience, combining:

- Theory Sessions: Participants gained a strong foundation through in-depth lectures on essential cell culture and virus isolation concepts.

- Live Demonstrations: Expert instructors provided step-by-step demonstrations, allowing participants to visualize the techniques they would later practice.

- Hands-on Training: At the program's core, participants actively participated in practical sessions, honing their skills in media preparation, subculture, cell counting, cryopreservation, cell line revival, virus isolation, harvesting, and immunofluorescence assay.

Upon completion of this program, the researchers from diverse regions of India were equipped with valuable skills to further their work in virology and related fields. Furthermore, the participants received two valuable credits.
