Overview
MA European Studies is a two-year master’s program tailored to provide a holistic view of Europe and European Union institutions from political, economic, cultural, social and linguistic perspectives. It aims to equip learners with a wide-range of critical skills to study the growing relevance of Europe and European Union institutions in the wider world. With an opportunity to learn a European language - French/German/Spanish and the possibility of exchange semesters in European partner universities with scholarships and fee waivers, the program opens up several domains where these skills can be put to use.
Program educational objectives
- To engage critically in debates and discussions on Europe multidisciplinary perspective and foster India-EU educational connect
- To conduct research in the interdisciplinary field of European Studies with a special focus on European politics, business, culture, literature, and education
- To pursue higher studies and prospective career in international institutions
- To employ intercultural competences and work collaboratively in a multicultural environment

Eligible Candidates
Citizenship: Indian nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
Qualification: The candidate must have passed bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate.
Admissions
Students are selected based on the score in qualifying exam, a strong Letter of Motivation and a personal interview
Note: Candidates can apply either under General Category or Foreign/NRI Category. Those submitting applications under both General and Foreign/NRI categories will be considered only under the General Category. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.
