The Department of Allied Hospitality Studies is designed to provide globally benchmarked education in Culinary Arts, Hospitality & Tourism. The department encourages student research on core and allied fields in clinical nutrition, hospitality, and tourism.

Research & Publications

The areas of research include business projects on house boats in Kerala, exploratory study on the factors influencing Goan cuisine, coffee consumption patterns of IT employees at 11 branded coffee outlets in Bengaluru, travel-buying of IT employees in Bengaluru, and sustainable events like case study on the storm festival in Coorg and the prevalence of corporate social responsibility in resorts of Thekkady, Kerala.
