- The Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology course is designed with relevance to the current requirements of anaesthesia technologists in the health care industry.
- This program prepares the candidate to be a member of a multidisciplinary team in operating rooms that prepares and maintains an operating room, assists the anaesthesiologist and surgical team during the preoperative to perioperative period, and provides patient support in the recovery room.
- An Anaesthesia technologist is an Allied Healthcare professional who assists in administration and monitoring of Anaesthesia and has an extensive knowledge of Anaesthesia techniques, instruments, supplies, and technology.
