Lancaster University
Lancaster University first opened its doors to 330 students in 1964, when it was granted its Royal Charter. Currently the university has over 10,000 students studying in departments that are recognised internationally for their quality teaching and research. The 250 acre Lancaster university campus is located in Lancaster and consists of parkland and academic departments, colleges, halls of residence, libraries, computer facilities, banks, shops and sporting facilities. The university has an international reputation for its academic excellence and is consistently ranked among the top 10 UK universities for teaching quality and research.
The Manipal- Lancaster twinning programme offers the following areas of specialisation for four-year degree courses leading to B.Eng. or BSc Honours degrees awarded by Lancaster.
