University of Missouri

The university is located near the centre of Kansas City, and provides over 130 academic programmes and is a premier campus for the performing arts, humanities and emerging scientific research. Ninety-five percent of the excellent, award-winning faculties have top degrees in their fields, and UMKC attracts excellent students with a total current enrolment of 13,750 students. It has more than 200 organisations and clubs in the campus give UMKC students many opportunities to participate in academic, social and community service groups. On-campus jobs are available for international students. Some academic units provide assistance for students to obtain either paid or -unpaid internships within the area business and industry.
