Queen Mary University of London
Founded in 1785, Queen Mary University of London is one of the UK's leading research-focused higher education institutions. Ranked in the world’s top 100 (Times Higher) and the UK’s top 10 (Research Excellence Framework) universities, QMUL attracts some of the brightest minds both nationally and internationally. With around 17,840 students, 4,000 staff and an annual turnover of £300m, it is one of the biggest University of London colleges.

QMUL is a multi-faculty institution, but students from Manipal’s ICAS Centre are able to apply for programmes in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. There are various options available for 2+2 Bachelors programmes, or 2+3 Masters of Engineering programmes:
- Mechanical Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or Masters of Engineering)
- Aerospace Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or Masters of Engineering)
- Electronic Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or Masters of Engineering)
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or Masters of Engineering)
- Electronic Engineering and Computing (Bachelors of Engineering or Masters of Engineering)
- Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications (Bachelors of Engineering or Masters of Engineering)
- Computer Science (Bachelors of Science)
- Computer Science and Mathematics (Bachelors of Science)
All our programmes include an optional year of Industrial Experience, meaning students can take a paid internship with one of QMUL’s industrial partners. Companies where our students have been placed include: IBM, Goldman Sachs, Kurtosys Systems, ITRS Group, Service Now, Bank of America, BAE Systems Detica, LOCOG, Nomura, eCircle, Shopping.com, M&G Investments, Credit Suisse, Accenture, Bridgestone, DePuy, Apatech, Artis, Corus, BAE, DSTL and Rolls Royce.
There are scholarships available for all ICAS students on the above listed programmes.
QMUL’s unique East London location between the City and Docklands means that some of the biggest companies in the world are located just a stone’s throw away from campus.
