The renovated laboratories of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department were inaugurated on 7th of October 2021. The director of the institute, Dr. Anil Rana inaugurated Power Electronics Lab, the join director of the institute, Dr. Somashekara Bhat inaugurated Analog Systems Lab, former director of the institute, Dr. Srikanth Rao inaugurated Energy System Simulation Lab and Dr. B. H. V. Pai inaugurated Digital Systems Lab.

Faculty and staff of the department were present during the function.
