The organizing committee cordially invite you to the EASTERN ZONE ASSOCIATION OF CLINICAL BIOCHEMIST OF INDIA Conference 2024 hosted by Manipal Tata Medical college (MTMC), Jamshedpur (A constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education : Deemed to be University & Institute of Eminence) in association with Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College & Hospital (MGMMCH) on October 5th, 2024.
The theme of this conference is “ADVANCES IN DIAGNOSTIC BIOCHEMISTRY: SHAPING THE FUTURE OF HEALTH CARE”. This theme is designed to inspire budding minds by highlighting the crucial role of biomarkers in clinical diagnostics. It aims to motivate and mould these inspired individuals to contribute significantly to the future of the healthcare system including patient safety. The conference will serve as an excellent platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas with eminent scientist and educators, thereby advancing the fields of medicine and medical education.
It’s indeed a great privilege welcoming the Researchers and Medical Educators of Easter Zone of India to this great event to join and actively engage in this academic fest of EZACBICon-2024 at beautiful 'Steel City' of Jamshedpur. The Association of Clinical Biochemists of India, founded on January 18, 1975, has played a pivotal role in advancements in the field of Clinical Biochemistry in India. MAHE is a prestigious private university located in Manipal, Karnataka. In 1953, Dr T M A Pai founded the Kasturba Medical College on a barren hill on the outskirts of the town of Udupi in Karnataka, India. In the subsequent years, many other academic institutions followed, and this vibrant campus developed into the town of Manipal. About Tata Main Hospital (TMH)
TATA Main Hospital, the first hospital of Jamshedpur was established in 1908 by Tata Steel. It is now one of the largest hospitals in Jharkhand. With 983 beds, TMH has a footfall of over 16.5 lakh OPD patients and 60000 admissions annually. This is the teaching hospital for Manipal TATA Medical College. TMH provides tertiary healthcare services through outpatient, inpatient and round-the-clock emergency services with several super specialty departments with NABH accredited with NABL accredited labs.
About MGM Medical College and Hospital, Jamshedpur
MGM Medical College, Jamshedpur was established on 14th Nov 1961, to fulfill the aspirations of Bihar and Jharkhand. It is a reputed Medical College of Jharkhand at present, where P.G. and U.G. Medical Education have been imparted since long. Presently with the capacity of 540 beds, MGMMCH offers its patients services of qualified doctors and trained paramedical staffs. College is affiliated with Kolhan University, Chaibasa since 2010. True to its name it has grown to become the premier medical institution of Jharkhand and India imbibing the Gandhian philosophy of making access of quality health care to the needy people of Jharkhand and its neighboring States. The College has provided so many alumni, who have established the glory of the institute not only in India but abroad too.
