“Shape your future and succeed in world of abundance,” Mr Anand Sudarshan tells batch of 2017 students at 25th Convocation

It is a brave new world – a future for you to bravely shape for yourself, and to thrive and succeed in ways different from our generation.

November 18, 2017

“You are proud members of new India, new world. A world and a future for all the challenges it is facing is one of abundance. Abundance of imagination, abundance of opportunities, abundance of choices, and abundance of creativity.” That was the message Mr Anand Sudarshan, founder and Director Sylvant Advisors had for the graduating students of Manipal Academy of Higher Education at the 25th Convocation at KMC Greens here on Saturday.

Addressing the batch of 2017 students Mr Sudarshan said, “It is also a future that has already started happening. And, with a foundation that is very different from what we have seen over the last two decades and more.

Social media has taken the world by storm. Global powers are getting rearranged oh-so quickly. Yesterday’s heroes of Indian IT industry are being forced to re-invent. Fossil fuel vehicles are beginning to be supplemented (and eventually replaced, perhaps) by electric cars”.

It is a brave new world – a future for you to bravely shape for yourself, and to thrive and succeed in ways different from our generation.

Mr. Sudarshan shared five suggestions that he believed would stand them in good stead. Be Curious, Imaginative & Creative; Be Purposeful, True & Courageous; Be Positive & Joyous; Be Committed & Resilient; Be both Passionate & Compassionate. These he said “Will be your companion traits as you shape your future and succeed in it”.
