Summary

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is in the small town of Manipal in coastal Karnataka. Being surrounded by the western ghats and coastal beaches, MAHE acknowledges and is devoted to its pursuit of environmental sustainability. MAHE has taken several initiatives to manage water resources, with the policy to optimize the use and rejuvenate the source. As an institute of eminence, MAHE is ensuring its eco-friendly campus is an example of Sustainability aspects and is working at various levels – at the campus, local community, regional, national, and international levels through collaboration and partnerships. It promotes sharing of knowledge, resources, and technological betterment of communities to ensure “Clean Water and Sanitation” for all.
