  • January 2021, Travers Reid Award for best paper presentation titled ‘Adaptation and validation of the Speech Situation Checklist-Emotional Reaction (SSC-ER) for Kannada-speaking school-age children who do and do not stutter’, 12th Oxford Dysfluency Conference, Online event, Oxford, UK[Award open to any student whose research project was undertaken within the last three years on the subject of stammering in childhood. Presenters are judged on the strength and potential value of the research, and the standard of the presentation given at the Conference. The recipient of the award will receive £300].

 

  • February 2020, Dr B M Abrol Award for best paper in Speech and Language Pathology for the paper ‘Comparison of relative efficacy of prolonged speech and pause and talk technique in school-age children who stutter’. Paper presented at the 52nd Indian Speech and Hearing Association Conference, Chandigarh, India.
