In commemoration of the Diamond Jubilee of MCOPS, a book entitled ‘Pharmaceutical Scientists of Manipal’, which encompasses the experiences of 15 eminent scientists of MCOPS, who have narrated their journey at Manipal in their own words, was released during the inauguration of Manipal Pharmaceutics Conference held during 28-30 September 2023 by the chief guest 𝗟𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗿 𝗠𝗗 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝗵, Vice-Chancellor, MAHE, Manipal. 𝗗𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗼, Pro Vice Chancellor- Health Sciences, MAHE, Manipal, 𝗗𝗿 𝗖 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗼, Principal, MCOPS, Dr Krishnamurthy Bhat, Vice-Principal, MCOPS, Dr. Srinivas Mutalik, Professor & Head, Dept. of Pharmaceutics, MCOPS; 𝗗𝗿 𝗛 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿, President, Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Professor and Head Department of Pharmacology, BLDEA's SSM College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Karnataka, were also part of the function. This book provides an insight into the historical development of MCOPS as a pharmaceutical research hub. The compilation of the chapters was coordinated by Dr Usha Y Nayak, Professor, Department Pharmaceutics, MCOPS.
