Dr. Girish Pai K, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics and Coordinator, Centre for cGMP, MCOPS, MAHE, Manipal was invited as a Resource Person to deliver a lecture on “Good Manufacturing Practices: From Development to Distribution”. The event ‘Catalyst Connect’ was organized by Mumbai-based JB Pharma at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad on 8 July 2023.

Dr. Pai stressed the importance of quality, vendor accreditation, vendor credibility, and the systems of GMP right from product development to distribution. The delegates included Purchase Heads and procurement teams of reputed Corporate Hospitals.

Dr. Pai was felicitated by Mr. Rupesh Mehta, Mr. Rengarajan, and Mr. Issac Lazarus (JB Marketing team) with a Bouquet, Certificate, Shawl, and Memento. Ms Sarita Bajpai (JB Medical Affairs) compered the program.  Mr Amarendra Kumar, Mr. Rudrapratap Rai, Mr. Rahul Date and Mr. Shivaram of JB Pharma were present during the occasion.

Dr. Girish Pai presented a copy of his unique book “Pharmaceutical Consumer Complaints” to Mr. Amarendra Kumar and Mr. Rupesh Mehta.
