Dr Mahesh Burande, President APTI, visited Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences on 28 August 2015. He was invited for a talk and interaction with students, research scholars and faculty members. The focus of Dr Burande’s talk was to inculcate pride in pharmacy professionals. He elaborated upon the various opportunities in pharmacy and described the role that could be donned by pharmacy students in areas like drug distribution, synthesis, formulation etc. One of the highlights of his address was the use of clean white aprons that portray the noble profession. The interaction was rewarding, providing much insight into the laws and practices of pharmacy. Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences looks forward to such interactions with Dr Burande in future.
