ICMR Sponsored National Seminar at MCOPS

A two day ICMR sponsored National Seminar on “Advanced Pharmaceutical Technologies and Dosage Forms: Where does India stand in the Global context?” was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutics, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education on 18 – 19 March, 2016. The seminar was inaugurated on March 18 by Dr Narayana Sabhahit, Registrar, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sabhahit stressed that India needs to focus on quality pharmacy research at the academics to contribute towards the drug development. Around 50 delegates from various parts of India participated in the seminar. 25 research papers were presented during the Poster session. Industry experts from Gland Pharma-Hyderabad, Steer Engineering-Bangalore, Stempeutics research centre-Manipal, Fourrts India Ltd.-Chennai, Academic experts from Biomedical Engineering, MIT-Manipal and Nitte University-Mangalore delivered lectures on the theme of the seminar and interacted with delegates.
