Centre for cGMP, a Centre of Excellence under the aegis of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE, Institution of Eminence) Manipal, has taken up new initiatives for the benefit of pharmacy students and new entrants of the Pharmaceutical Industry. In connection with this, coordinators of Centre for cGMP met Dr P Giridhar Kini, Registrar of MAHE, Manipal to discuss the proposed initiatives of Centre for cGMP.

Centre for cGMP also submitted a brief report on the success of first National cGMP Day and shared the achievement of receiving India Pharma Awards 2023 for “Excellence in Quality Assurance”. India Pharma Award trophy and Certificate was displayed to the Registrar.

During the occasion, Centre for cGMP also handed over a copy of Special Edition of Bulletin on “First Ever National cGMP Day” received from IDMA. Registrar lauded the efforts and support of IDMA in making the first National cGMP Day a grand success across India on 10^th October 2023.

The Registrar appreciated and congratulated Dr Girish Pai K, Coordinator and all the members of the Centre for cGMP for coming up with the new initiatives and suggested the way forward to take these initiatives to the next level.

Dr Srinivas Mutalik (Principal, MCOPS), Dr Muddukrishna BS, Mr Ravindra Shenoy U, Dr Girish Thunga, Dr Aravinda Pai and Dr Vasudev R Pai (Co-coordinators of Centre) were present during the occasion.
