Program description

The M.Sc. (Masters in Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Technology) program course offered by MCHP is a post-graduate program for students interested in working with vital team members who assist cardiologists during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, device closure and electrophysiology. The program provides unmatched clinical exposure to its students through its affiliation with a leading tertiary care hospital, Kasturba Hospital.

The MCHP’s B.Sc. CVT is conducted under MAHE

Focus

Students are trained to work in operating rooms of cardiac catheterizations, non - invasive analysis and reporting in cardiac device implanted patients, also handling and operating bulky equipment’s in the Cath lab setup as a part of invasive cardiac catheterization procedures.
