National Body of the Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) awarded Dr. Pratap Kumar (KMC 1970-73), Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal the “Late Prof. D. Kutty Annual Life Time Achievement Award” for the year 2010-2011 for the services rendered to the national body at Varanasi during the 55th All India Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology on 30th January 2012. He received this award from President of National body Prof. P. K. Shah. He has also been awarded with the membership of National Academy of Medical Sciences Convocation at Chennai on October 13, 2012.
