Host events at university that are open to the general public: executive education programmes (this refers to short courses for people who are not attending the university; this specifically excludes courses like MBA) and/or vocational training. 

The Panchakarma Technician and Massage Therapy training program is running successfully since 1999 in Division of Ayurveda. The objective of the training program is to provide practical knowledge to trainees in delivering various Ayurvedic Therapies according to the instructions of the physician. The students passed from this training have been well placed in renowned hospitals in India and abroad.

Short term certificate courses are offered by the College of Nursing to registered nurses in order to enhance their competency and credibility and encourage lifelong learning and professional development. The courses cover a wide range of areas including Evidence based practice in nursing, emotional intelligence, basic obstetric skills, oncology nursing and Advanced Nursing Leadership & Management among others.

The department of Philosophy and department of Languages offer a variety of certificate courses in philosophy and Indian as well as foreign languages including French, German, Japanese, Sanskrit, Hindi and Kannada thereby providing an opportunity to the public to learn new languages and improve their language skills.
