- Delivering lectures to postgraduate students.
- Scheduling classes, examination dates, project dates, research presentation etc.
- Allocation of lecture classes, practical classes and other academic works to various faculty members in the department.
- Guiding the students and attending to their academic related problems.
- Initiating the process of curriculum development, modification, up gradation etc.
- Organizing other academic activities such as workshops, CMEs, symposiums and conferences.
- Motivating the faculty and students to attend workshops, conference etc.
- Guiding the postgraduate students in their project and thesis preparation.
- Collecting the question paper sets, internal assessment marks etc. from department faculty (through Course Coordinators) and forwarding to concerned authority.
- Communicating the various information, periodic circulars, rules, norms, guidelines, deadline etc. to faculty members and students.
- Forwarding applications of faculty and students to concerned authorities.
- Authorizing and forwarding students attendance and internal assessment marks to KMC office within the deadline.
- Chairman of the Board of studies for the department and conduct meetings regularly.
