CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Dr. Vijetha Shenoy Belle has seven years of teaching and laboratory experience in the field of clinical biochemistry.

    She has been the Laboratory In-charge of the Clinical Biochemistry Lab of Kasturba Hospital Laboratory Services since 2019.

    She has completed the Certificate Course in Bioethics, the ICHGCP workshop and is currently a member of the KH&KMC Ethics Committee.

    She is also a member of the KMC Ph.D. Cell. She has guided five post-graduate thesis projects and has been a co-guide in MD projects.

    She has completed the training and certificate course in “Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit in Medical Laboratories as per ISO 15189:2012”.

    She has guided a 3rd-year MBBS student to successfully obtain the ICMR STS 2020 and two KMC STS projects.

    She has collaborated with Dr. Nitesh Kumar, Dr. Sridhara Pai from the Department of Pharmacology, MCOPS, Manipal, Dr. Vasudev Ballal from MCODS, Manipal.

    She has successfully registered two copyrights from the Department of Biochemistry, KMC, Manipal.

    She has authored a book, Competency-based questions and answers in biochemistry for 1st MBBS professional exams.

    She has authored numerous articles in the Arogyavaani section of Udayavaani.

    She has been awarded Dr. TMA Pai gold medal for outstanding research publication in the year 2020.
