CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Dr. Ravindra Maradi is currently working as an Associate professor in the Department of Biochemistry, has more than 15 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

    He has done Advanced Course in Medical Education and is actively involved as the resource faculty for the Revised Basic Course Workshop and training in Attitude, Ethics, and Communication.

    Dr. Maradi is also the Director of Kasturba Hospital Laboratory Services, Kasturba Hospital Manipal, and has a keen interest in the diagnostic laboratory.

    He has trained many undergraduate and postgraduate students in research and has presented many research papers at national and international conferences.

This study is a prospective cohort study that is happening in the community by contacting Newly diagnosed tuberculosis patients and looking at their treatment outcomes by monitoring their nutritional status, Anaemic status, and glucose levels during their treatment. Post-treatment follow-up for 1 year to assess any reinfection of relapse of tuberculosis
