Assessing Thiamine levels in perinatal population - First step in developing a systematic module

The actual prevalence and contribution of thiamine deficiency disorders to infant mortality in India is yet unknown. In the Udupi district, the major cause of infant deaths is respiratory problems including persistent pulmonary hypertension. The proposed study aims to understand the status of thiamine deficiency in our region in the perinatal population.
Correlation of Serum and Peritoneal fluid CA125 levels in patients with endometriosis

CA 125 is a biomarker for women's genital tract malignancies and could also be used in detecting and monitoring endometriosis. The sensitivity of this alone is unsatisfactory. The sensitivity of peritoneal fluid CA 125 was higher than serum CA 125. This study aims to find the correlation of Serum and Peritoneal fluid CA125 levels in patients with endometriosis.
