Internationalization of higher education in India

Manipal, 23rd April 2022: "International Educator", the official publication of NAFSA, has published a special issue on the internationalization of higher education in India.
In this article, Dr. Raghu Radhakrishnan, director of international relations at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), shares some challenges regarding Internationalization Efforts “there is no forum or network to promote the internationalization of Indian higher education,” MAHE is working with the UGC, the Indian government and the Association of Indian Universities to establish such a network, called the Indian Network for Internationalization of Education (INIHE). And Dr. Raghu praises the NEP 2020 and highlighted some of the important aspects of the National Education Policy.
