Manipal Urogynecology Course 2019
Start Date: July 27, 2019
End Date: July 28, 2019
Bladder health is an important component of a woman’s well-being and gynecologists are uniquely positioned to be of service to these women whose quality of life is compromised.
Recognizing the increasing need for urogynecology training, we have commenced the facility of ‘Urogynecology’ as a sub-speciality in our department since 1st January 2018 with a regular OPD running once a week (Tuesday afternoons). With the vision of creating awareness about the paradox of tremendous needs of these services in our society and bare minimal experts in the field, we have commenced the first Manipal Urogynecology Course “Basics to Beyond” to be held at KMC, Manipal, Karnataka from 27th to 28th July, 2019 and we hope to hold this course on an annual basis in the future. The Organizing committee has worked hard to offer a blend of interesting discussions and surgeries with renowned international and local experts. We are happy to have Dr Christian Fuenfgeld from Germany as faculty during this first course and Prof Catherine Mathews from USA who has kindly agreed to participate in an online live OT session with us. Both are adjunct faculty of Manipal. Spanning a range of topics from basic urogynecology to the latest surgical developments, our renowned international and national speakers will be highlighting best practice and give you an opportunity to sharpen your skills and a platform to share your experience.
The capacity to learn is a GIFT,
the ability to learn is a SKILL,
the willingness to learn is a CHOICE…..
