13th October 2021- Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) felicitated Sub. Kashinath Naik is a Ekalavya Awardee and 2010 Commonwealth games medallist who has also trained the Olympian medallist Neeraj Chopra.
Pro-Chancellor, Dr. H S Ballal, Vice-Chancellor Lt. Gen. Dr.MD Venkatesh, Registrar, Dr. Narayan Sabhahit, MAHE, members of Sports Council MAHE and Udupi District Athletic Association were present at the felicitation ceremony and wishes him the best for all his future endeavors.
Mr. Kashinath Naik visited Marena Sports Complex, at MAHE and was live on the Manipal Academy of Higher Education's official Instagram page. He attributes his achievements and success to the Indian Army and said, “Hard work, smart training technicalities leads to the success of athletes”.
