Bengaluru; 10th January 2025:  Manipal Academy of Higher Education Bengaluru has successfully concluded the second edition of the Pan India quiz competition, MAHE B'LRU INTERSCHOOL QUIZ (MIQ 2.0), today, at its Bengaluru campus in Govindapura, Yelahanka. It was a one-of-a-kind event that gathered young minds from over 4200 schools, creating an atmosphere of intellectual competition and emphasising teamwork and collaboration. Prof. (Dr.) Madhu Veeraraghavan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MAHE Bengaluru, Dr. Aditya Mohan Jadhav, PhD, Principal Officer (Student Acquisition and Marketing), Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Dr Raghavendra Prabhu, Deputy Registrar, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru, inaugurated the competition, which represented some of the brightest students in the country while fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and skills of collaboration.

The grand finale was conducted under the leadership of Venkatesh S (Venky), the quizmaster, which witnessed tight competition among six teams emerging from five distinct zones: East, West, North, 1 South and 2 South. It covered a wide range of academic disciplines and reflected participants' depth of knowledge, critical thinking skills, and ability to work seamlessly in a team.

Dhariya and Vaibhav Rai from Cambridge Court High School, Jaipur, emerged as winners and were awarded a grand prize of INR 1,50,000, along with trophies and recognition. Second place went to Jian Jomy and Akhil Krishnan U R from Assisi Vidya Niketan Public School, Kochi, with a prize of INR 1,00,000 while Parv Jain and Argh Jain from Delhi Public School, Greater Noida, secured third place and INR 50,000.
