Manipal Institute of Communication, on November 14, 2024, conducted a one-day workshop on Creative CV and Portfolio Making by Mr. Ajai Raghav, a Senior Principal Experience Designer at Infosys and Senior Identity Designer. Under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Shubha H.S. and Assoc. Prof. Akhil Raj K.V., the event brought an extensive understanding among the students about the expectations from the industry and created perspectives on how to differentiate oneself while standing out in the present-day demanding and competitive job markets. From crafting CVs related to specific roles to the importance of creative confidence, courage and clarity, Mr. Ajai shared actionable insights, focusing once again on presenting oneself professionally through careful details in typography, colour palettes, and design elements.

The interactive session saw enthusiastic participation from students of BAMC, BSc Animation and MA Media and Communication, who sought personalized feedback as well as practical advice. Inspired by the interesting anecdotes and an approachable demeanour, Mr. Ajai's suggestions to revise portfolios provided students with long-needed tools for representing skills effectively. The workshop was a real combination of learning and motivation, which enabled students with confidence and finesse to surface in the creative industry.
