School of Communication today to commemorate the birthday celebrations of late Dr. M V Kamath

Prizes were distributed to the winners of the Patriotic group  singing competition organized  by Radio Manipal in association with Manipal Academy of General Education and School of Communication. The program was organized by School of Communication today to commemorate the birthday celebrations of late Dr. M V Kamath.

Dr. H S Ballal, Pro Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education giving the prizes felt such co curricular activities should be encouraged amongst students to showcase their talents. These competitions provide scope for an overall development of  the personality of the  children as an individual.   

The competition was held for the students of Udupi District on the eve of Independence day and  10 teams from various schools of Udupi district had participated in the event. 

All the participanting schools were given cash prize and certficates of appreciation.
