Revels 2025, the annual cultural fest of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), was held from March 11 to 15, 2025, bringing together an exhilarating mix of performances, competitions, and artistic showcases. The fest commenced with the spectacular Cultural Parade, a vibrant display of India’s rich heritage and global influences. Students representing various cultural clubs adorned traditional attire, performed mesmerizing folk dances like Bharatnatyam, Kathak, and Bhangra, and presented thematic acts from different states, including Kerala’s traditional art forms, Gujarat’s Rangilo Raas, Maharashtra’s Navrang, and Rajasthan’s Ghoomar Girls. The parade created a colorful and energetic atmosphere, setting the perfect stage for the festivities ahead.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mr. Ram Aswani, a renowned musician and MIT alumnus, who shared his inspiring artistic journey and emphasized the significance of cultural expression. His address was followed by a mesmerizing musical performance alongside Dr. Sanjiv Manohar Sansgiri and Mr. Ranga Pai, adding an enchanting musical touch to the evening.

The fest continued with an array of exciting events, including a Comedy Night, an extravagant Fashion Show, the electrifying Battle of Bands, and captivating Western Group Dance performances. The final day featured soul-stirring Indian Classical Singing and Western Vocal Singing competitions, adding a melodious conclusion to the fest.

Revels 2025 proved to be a resounding success, offering students an unforgettable platform to showcase their talent, celebrate cultural diversity, and experience the true essence of artistic expression.
