AIMS OF THE PROGRAMME

AIM1: Successfully implement information security projects to solve real-life problems thereby demonstrating design, analysis, programming, and implementation capabilities.

AIM2: Engage in lifelong learning, innovate and conduct multidisciplinary research in the field of computer science and information security.

AIM3: Evolve as globally competent information security professionals with high ethical values and societal concern.

AIM4:  Demonstrate professionalism, team spirit and remain continuously employable.

 

PROGRAMME LEARNING OUTCOMES

LO1:  Graduates will possess knowledge of mathematics, as well as computer science & information security fundamentals.

LO2:  Graduates will be able to recognize and resolve security threats and attacks in the field of Computer Science & information security.

LO3:  Graduates will exhibit the skills required to solve complex engineering problems, conduct experiments, assess, test and interpret the results.

LO4:   Graduates will demonstrate an ability to carry out multidisciplinary research under realistic constraints.

LO5:  Graduates will excel in the use of the latest information security tools, software and equipment to analyze and solve problems.

LO6: Graduates will work upon novel problems through investigative studies, and research and contribute to the development of technical knowledge through publications.

LO7:   Graduates will demonstrate an understanding of professional, ethical, and security issues and responsibilities.

LO8:   Graduates will demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written communication.
