Overview - Manufacturing Engineering

The MTech program in Manufacturing Engineering teaches all aspects of manufacturing.

The program offers these benefits:

  • Computing software such as CATIAV6, Master CAM, Caps Turn & Caps Mill and SeeNC Turn & SeeNC Mill
  • Project/ laboratory facilities such as CNC turning centre, CNC vertical machining centre, rolling mill, SEM, metallurgical microscope, coordinate measuring machine, water jet cutting machine, pneumatic and hydraulic trainer kits, modular production systems
  • Library with internet and intranet services which facilitates 1600 e-journals and 280 hard copies of journals specifically for this program
  • Internship opportunities at National Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences-Trivandrum, NAL Bangalore, CMERI, CSIR Durgapur, BOSCH Bangalore, Birla Corporation Ltd. Madhya Pradesh, Vovlo Ltd Bangalore, L&T Mumbai etc.
