Maternal cardiac arrest and pre-arrest scenarios are challenging, requiring rapid recognition and an organized team approach to provide good outcome for the patient. To address this, we have developed a simulation-based team training module ‘maternal resuscitation program’ (MRP), focusing on multidisciplinary teams managing maternal cardiac arrest and pre-arrest scenarios, such as eclampsia and Postpartum hemorrhage.
