The orientation program begin with an overview of MCHP and welcome address from the dean of MCHP  Dr. Arun G. Maiya. 

The orientation was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Dr Sharath K Rao, Pro Vice Chancellor - Health Sciences, MAHE, Manipal, Guests of Honour Dr. P. Giridhar Kini, Registrar , MAHE, Manipal and Dr.Anand Venugopal Chief Operating Officer - Teaching Hospitals, MAHE, Manipal who addressed the gathering, inspiring the students with their words of wisdom and encouragement. 

The orientation was further enriched by the presence of associate deans Dr. Venkataraja Aithal U and Dr. B Reshmi.  The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Aithal , who expressed gratitude to the guests for their presence and guidance and wished the new students a successful academic career.

The event provided a platform for the students to familiarize themselves with the institution, its faculty, and the academic and clinical resources available.
