The Manipal Medical Imaging Conference (MMICON) 2023 was organized by the Department of Medical Imaging Technology with the theme of “Navigating the Future: Future of Artificial Intelligence and Medical Imaging for Enhanced Health Care” on 19^th October 2023 at Sharada hall, MCHP, Manipal. The conference aimed at providing insights into the Role of artificial intelligence and Recent advancements in Medical Imaging Technology. Over 290 delegates had registered for the conference from various colleges across India. The Inauguration ceremony of the conference started with an invocation song. Our beloved Dean Dr. Arun G Maiya delivered a welcome address followed by lamp lighting ceremony. Dr. Saikiran P, Associate Professor and Organizing Secretary delivered the overview of the program. Our honorable Chief Guest Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao K, Pro Vice Chancellor (Health Science), MAHE, Manipal addressed the gathering with his motivational words. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Winniecia Dkhar, Associate Professor & Head, Department of MIT, MCHP.

The eminent guest speakers from Radiodiagnosis & Imaging, Multinational companies (United Imaging and Philips Health care), and International speakers from Near East University, Nicosia, Cyprus provided insights into the latest achievements, technologies, Artificial Intelligence applications in Radiology and breakthroughs in Medical Imaging. The Oral and Poster presentations were conducted for the students and the first three oral and poster winners were awarded prizes. The conference ended with valedictory function. The conference received a good feedback from the participants and have expressed interest to attend similar conference once again in the future
