The University of Melbourne delegation visit to MAHE

The international delegates from the University of Melbourne, Australia, Prof Bruce R. Thompson, Head - School of Health Sciences & School of Health Sciences, Mr. Hamish Dunn, Recruitment Lead, Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences Divisional Group, Ms. Preeti Mathur, Country Adviser, Offshore Recruitment, Student and Scholarly Services have visited Manipal College of Nursing (MCON) MAHE Manipal on 12/11/22.
Dr Tessy Treesa Jose, Associate Dean of Manipal College of Nursing MAHE Manipal welcomed the guest and oriented them about the MCON courses, activities, strengths of the institutions, grants, and various research interests of the institution. The department HODs also discussed the activities carried out in the departments. The international faculty were impressed with the MCON courses and activities. The delegates showed interest in the Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care (NPCC) program. Dr. Anice George, former Dean MCON, and Dr Jyothi Chakrabarty, Head of the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing explained the program details of the Nurse practitioner in Critical Care program to the Delegates. The international faculty were excited about this visit and looking forward to positively having collaborative activities with the Manipal College of Nursing MAHE Manipal. This visit was coordinated by Dr Judith A Noronha, Dean MCON, Dr Elsa Sanatombi Devi, Head of Pillar Expanding Reach and Internationalization, Dr Shashidhara YN, Head, Dept of Community Health Nursing, International students Coordinator and Mrs. Sweety J Fernandes Assistant Professor Dept of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, MCON.
